Not same as picture

I was pleased about the speed at which it came but very unhappy that it doesn’t look like the picture. The shape is correct but instead of saying JEEP in the middle like the image shows, it says it in small white painted letters on one side. Looks like I bought a knockoff moose part. Very dissatisfied as I bought the blackout emblem addition and this just ruins it.

Does what I wanted. It deflects bugs that don't wash off easily without the deflector. Small stone pecks that drive me crazy but the deflector has made all the difference.
ConsOne needs to read the directions carefully. It goes on easy, but you must follow step by step.

Unit was direct fit and zero issues bolting up. My only complaint would be the guard tape they provide for hood protection is not nearly enough to offer proper protection on it's own. I supplemented with clear gorrilla tape and then used their protection. This assures no maring of the paint. Otherwise great fit and is everything I wanted.
ProsDirect fit, great styling and far better than a bra.
ConsNeed to offer better quality hood protection tape for mounting brackets. You need to supply your own to offset this if you want to protect the paint better.

This bug deflector is bad ass! Fits nicely and protects the hood from chips- which is why I put it on.

ConsThe sides go all the way to the edge of the hood which is great. Recommend not walking close to the car as anything loose can catch the deflector and break it- like it did for me.

The chrome front air deflector adds a Touch of Class to an already classy Jeep Grand Cherokee. It follows the contours and lines of the hood nicely. Look like a factory installed option. It's EZ to install but you must have patience. The chrome scratches easily so be sure to lay your deflector on the shipping box/cardboard or other soft surface when installing the rubber bumpers. Box came damaged, but deflector survived the trip. One screw was missing from bag of parts, but I found one similar in my 'junk drawer'. We had this chrome deflector on the 2011, so when we traded it in on the 2017, this chrome bug deflector was the first thing to be added.

This product is very easy to install and looks great. Very few instructions and needs few instructions. The only thing it doesn't come with is thread lock, which I didn't have, but installed it anyway and added it a day later without problem.
