- INSTALLATION IS A SIMPLE MATTER OF PLUGGING IT INTO THE DIAGNOSTIC OBD2 PORT, Due to the addition of a security module, a Double Bypass or Security Gateway Bypass Module is REQUIRED for the Tazer to function in 2018-2022 Grand Cherokee models. Will not work in 2021-2022 models with the UConnect 5 radio.
