Mopar Front Brake Pad Kit for 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee WJ
Mopar brake pad kits for 1999-2004 WJ Grand Cherokee.
There are two versions of the brake kits, Akebono and Continental Teves. If you are unsure which version you have you must physically check your caliper brackets (Item 2 & 3 in the pictures) to determine the correct kit for your Grand Cherokee.
The Akebono has a Silver colored caliper with a solid caliper bracket. (Found on models from 5/11/02 to end of WJ production.)*
The Continental Teves has a Black colored caliper with an open sided caliper bracket and a spring clip holding the outer brake pad in place. (Found on models from 1999 to 5/10/02, unless your calipers have been updated to the Akebono caliper kit # 5093174AA.)*
