Jeeps have a strong connection to the U.S. Armed Forces, and this Jeep Star Keychain salutes that history.
The Jeep Star logo is a variation of the Invasion Star, a symbol used by the U.S. after it got involved in World War II to differentiate between vehicles it had sent to allies beforehand. Vehicles that were delivered to allies had a star; soldiers in the field simply painted a circle around the star in the field in order to tell the difference, and to spot Jeeps that might have fallen into enemy hands.
This keychain depicts that variation in molded hand-polished metal with a rich patina on the surface.
