Description
This Infotainment Passive Entry Keyless Go Upgrade for 2018-2027 Jeep Wrangler JL adds passive entry functionality using smart handle and swing gate switch operation with key fob authentication through the vehicle's RF-Hub. Choose the option above for Driver's Door Only, Driver & Passenger's Doors, or Driver, Passenger & Swing Gate coverage.
The system unlocks passively when a hand approaches the capacitive switch in the handle or when the swing gate switch is pressed, then validates the key fob location before sending an electronic unlock request. The kit also includes the components needed to enable the remote proximity keyless entry option code without dealer programming.
