This Mopar Keyed to Ignition Locking Gas Cap for 2000-2018 Jeep Cherokee XJ, Liberty KJ/KK, Compass MK, Patriot MK, and Wrangler JK is a factory locking fuel cap designed to help protect against fuel contamination or theft.
The cap is keyed to the vehicle's ignition, but it will need to be coded to your Jeep's key by a Jeep dealership or locksmith because it does not come with tumblers or springs. It is made from sturdy plastic and features a stainless steel lock cylinder.
