Excellent Stability and Protection Side Rail, Access Ateps
July 10, 2017
Bought these originally for step up support for family, also protection from rocks when off road. Both of those reasons have proven the value of the purchase; was off road recently and the lower rocker protected car frame a couple of times in deep back woods experience. Also...in store lot, someone threw open car door next to me which would have dented the car, but these steel side rails protected Jeep and, well, dented the offending door. Real advantage is that these add stability and weight to the Jeep, with as far as I can tell little loss of mileage given my drive pattern (long trips for work, followed by in town and off road). Had these installed by local auto shop, who said they went right on. I was going to, but getting under Jeep was a problem for me and they are heavy steel. If you have a lift support and the correct wrench size, should be easy to install.
